What Do Owls Do at Night?

While we sleep, it is sometimes interesting to think about what some of our nighttime friends are doing. Mr. Wishart’s grade 3’s took a very artistic approach to demonstrating some of the things they learned about our nocturnal friends. They used a dark watercolor wash to create a night sky and added some gray wisps of fog. The silhouettes of the trees and owls were created using black paper. Students then created a descriptive Haiku to share what they learned about the physical features and behavioral adaptations of the owls.
