What Inspires You?

Sometimes, in order to start thinking creatively, we require a little bit of inspiration. Our grade 4’s were recently inspired by some work by Vincent Van Gogh. Specifically, they looked at his Three Sunflowers in a Vase. Mastering some of the art curriculum outcomes can seem a little easier when you are feeling inspired.

When Autumn Stories are More Than Stories

Our grade 1’s have spent a lot of time outside and have read many stories about Autumn. During this time, they observed seasonal changes and connected feelings of belonging, personal choice and expression to what they were “sensing” through their Art.

This project tapped into learner outcomes from the Art, Health and Science curriculums in grade 1. They also look great!
