If you haven’t already done so, check out your opportunity to share a bit about your family, and learn more about others.

We invite all families to join us and celebrate the stories that make up our Hawkwood School Community! In preparation for this evening, we are asking all families to take a moment to fill out this quick survey about your family's roots and connections:

The form is open to families until Oct. 16th, 2026.

Update From Hawkwood School Council / Friends

Assemblies and Celebrating Learning

Over the years we have hosted many different types of assemblies at our school. With the support of Ms. MacDonald and Mr. Loyns, grade level teams have created wonderful assemblies around different events and times in our school calendar.

This year we are taking a slightly different approach as each grade level will host a Celebration of Learning. These celebrations, also supported by Ms. MacDonald’s Music program, will showcase the different types of learning that has been taking place in that grade level over the past while. Knowing that it is sometimes difficult to get away during a workday, we still invite parents of students in that grade level to come and see the performance if they are able to.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 Team who kicked our celebrations off this morning with an entertaining look at all they have learned about weather so far this school year. All celebrations will occur on Fridays at 10:00, and the schedule for the year looks like this:

Dec. 4th & 11th - Kindergarten

January 22nd - Grade 4

March 12th - Grade 3

April 16th - Grade 2

May 14th - Grade 1

Ms. MacDonald will be hosting our Remembrance Assembly on Friday, Nov. 6th.

Have a great week!
