Next Week’s School Calendar - Fall Break

Remember that next week is our Fall Break as set out in the CBE School Calendar. This means that there will be no school for students from Monday, Nov. 10th to Wednesday, Nov. 12th inclusive. Students will be back in class on Thursday, Nov. 13th

Battery Collection Drive – Until November 28

Our school is joining the Earth Rangers Battery Blitz to help protect the environment by collecting used household batteries. Batteries contain materials that can harm land, water, and wildlife if they end up in the landfill. We are accepting dry-cell batteries such as AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt, button cells, and rechargeable types under 5 kg. We cannot accept wet-cell batteries, such as car batteries.

Safety Note: Please tape the terminals (ends) of lithium, rechargeable, and 9-volt (or higher) batteries with clear packing tape if possible.

Bring your used batteries from home to the collection box in the school foyer by November 28. Let’s make a difference together—one battery at a time!

Fun Lunch - Subway

🥖This lunch fundraiser is optional and will be delivered to classrooms by wonderful volunteers.

Remembrance Assembly

We are grateful to our Grade 3 Team and Ms. MacDonald for putting together our Remembrance Assembly today. Despite having just over a week for planning and practice, our team did a great job getting the students engaged and ready to go. Thank you so much for reminding us about the importance of this day.
