How Do Animals Thrive and Survive?

Our grade 1 classes recently explored this question as part of their work in Science. Included in this work were other questions:

• What environment is best and how does it provide food?
• How do animals protect themselves?
• What is an adaptation and how does it help animals?
• What impact do humans have on animals in Alberta?
• What animal parts and products have been used by Indigenous peoples?

Many answers to these questions can be found in the fabulous triaramas that the students made.

  Are You Missing Something?

Our growing piles of lost and found items are on display. Come by and have a look for something you may be missing. They will remain out and available all next week. After June 20th, all items will be bagged up and donated to local charities

Register for Yellow Bus
